Who is Jam?short answer: it's complicated
Blogger since the early 2000s, serial experimenter, "Webinar Girl", community builder, and the person behind Divergity and Conversologie.
My story
I made my first clicks in the digital world in the early 2000s as a blogger and early adopter of digital innovations. My passion has always been discovering emerging web tools, gadgets, and online trends.
During corporate roles in outsourcing, I maintained involvement in writing, learning, and various projects as a serial experimenter.
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family naturally led me to recognise opportunities. I've managed multiple companies including a design and desktop publishing firm, web development agency, branding operation, and virtual events business.
My pioneering spirit introduced webinar concepts to the Philippines in 2008, earning me the nicknames "Webinar Girl" and "Virtual Business Educator".
I'm fascinated by games and behavioural design. My knowledge-sharing journey began writing game guides, walkthroughs, and reviews for Gamezebo in 2010, and I pursued Gamification Design certification for business applications.
I served as a Hootsuite Ambassador for New Zealand and previously served on the Social Media Club Auckland (SMCAKL) committee, hosting events including "Socialise your Boss" and "Let the Games Begin."
As founder of the NZ Bloggers Network, I've organised monthly Auckland meetups and blog consultations.
I founded Conversologie as a digital consulting agency, partnering with global brands like Hootsuite, ActiveCampaign, and ManyChat to help SMEs, marketing agencies, professionals, and startups navigate digital transformation. Long before AI became the buzzword it is today, we were already building chatbots and designing automations, so the shift into AI was a natural next step, not a trend we jumped on. Today, Conversologie is focused on practical AI training and AI solutions: hands-on workshops that leave teams with skills they'll actually use, and custom-built tools shaped around how businesses really work. No hype, no jargon, just what moves you forward.
My latest venture, Divergity, channels that same learn-by-doing philosophy in a new direction. I'm building personalised productivity tools for neurodivergent adults, starting with ADHD. It brings together everything I love, behavioural science, thoughtful design, and genuinely useful tech, to help my tribe succeed.
I share knowledge through online platforms, university classrooms, workshops, and conferences. The Conversologist Lab and Divergity are the two projects closest to my heart right now, each a different way of helping people learn, adapt, and grow.
Kind wordshumans said these!
Jessica Sturgess
"For someone with no technical background, Conversologie have been teaching me how to use AI properly and set up my own business automations, making my life so much easier as a single consultant. Jam explains things in a way I understand, and works with me on how AI can achieve what I actually need it to do."
Kate Thompson

Her knowledge and understanding of blogging have given her a solid foundation to help others attain their goals while her empathy, humility and communication skills make her an ideal community organiser.
